What’s more important: quantity or quality of Twitter
followers? Why? What are your criteria for choosing people or
brands to follow on Twitter? Who are
your top 5 favorite professional“tweeps” and why? How many Twitter followers (besides your
ORCO/MTSU tweeps) have you gained so far? How many of these do you actually engage with on a regular basis?
Quality vs Quantity
Twitter is all about getting a statement across to a large group.
A group larger than any group before in social media.
A follower could be ANYONE.
With this is mind the QUALITY of your tweets takes Precedence.
It is what the message means not how many messages you can send that validates who a Twitter user is.
Quantity vs Quality
Twitter is all about presenting yourself to a large group.
A group larger than any group before in social media.
A follower could be ANYONE.
With this is mind it is the QUANTITY of your tweets that takes precedence.
It is getting the attention of a follower that validates anything else you can put out that validates who a Twitter user is.
Consider Both : Qualintity
The battle rages on.

I choose people to follow on Twitter who have something to offer. Something I can think on for more than .25 of a second. Something that resonates. Something that gets my thinker a thinkin. Something that encourages me to Tweet.

Confession:
Although I have gained so many followers ( At least 100 more!) I do not engage with them as much as I should. I should definitely be the engage mac daddy at this point. The amount of articles Ive clicked through based on social media engagement is absurd. But! Their is still a barrier I haven't climbed over yet. Hopefully with my new Mac I will be more engaging!! These people deserve to know I like what they are putting out there! They should also know exactly how much I have learned from them. Its a working progress...

But perfecting my backstroke!
